    Composting is nature’s way of recycling your trash to treasure!  Much of what we throw away as trash from our kitchens and yards can be composted into rich, healthy soil instead of piled into a landfill.  Join the Geauga County Master Gardeners and Geauga Soil and Water Conservaton District for this fun, informative workshop to learn about compost basics and benefits, different composting bins and methods, as well as common problems to avoid.  Let compost’s wealth improve your soil health! No charge.

    The Great Geauga County Fair offers many opportunities for children to showcase their skills and creativity.  This class is designed to introduce young Geauga County residents to the process, to help them enter an exhibit in the Junior Class, defined as age 12 and under.  We will provide the paperwork, including sample applications and our experience.  Young future Fair exhibitors, ages 12 and under, need to be accompanied by an adult who will help guide them through the process. No Charge
