    Master Gardeners  will demonstrate proper pruning techniques to achieve desired growth and maximum plant performance.  This class will ease your fear of pruning. Jim and Deb will help you understand the when, how, where and why associated with pruning all your landscape plants and trees.  Light refreshments and handouts will be provided.    $15.00 per person

    Fall is a great time to prepare your garden for the long winter and have it ready for Spring planting.  Put your leaves to good use.  Learn about "Black Gold", what Lasagna Gardening/Layering compost is all about; which plants can you bring into the garage or basement and enjoy next season.  Identify the plants which will provide cuttings and more plants! to nurture in the house over winter.  Registration fee $15

    This is a guide to maintain a healthy robust garden.  Know when and how much to water, when to "feed" and how to nurture those valuable plants.  Learn which bugs are good and protect healthy plants and which need to be removed or prevented.  Find out about soil additives and pesticides.  Learn to anticipate, recognize and treat diseases for a healthy productive garden.  Registration fee $15.

    Grow and propagate hostas.  They are easy to grow and the number one perennial in the U.S. with over 7,000 varieties.  Master Gardener, Kathy Koch, will help you select site appropriate hostas.  Learn how to care for and propagate these lush plants from seed and divide mature plants.  Registration fee $15.

    Fairy gardens are becoming increasingly popular, perhaps because these lovely miniatures are so individual and such fun.  Get the tips for creating an enchanting container fairy garden and make your own to take home.  Supplies are included.  Think about Mother's Day and the gift of a Fairy Garden or the class itself!  Registration fee $35.
