As an alternative to participating in the mandated annual quality assurance training, Geauga County Junior Fair food animal project exhibitors ages 12-14 and 15-18 may elect to take a Quality Assurance test in their primary project area. This test is administered by and under the supervision of Ohio State University Extension. Those who pass the test will be exempt from annual quality assurance re-certification until they move into the next age bracket or are no longer a Geauga County Junior Fair feed exhibitor.

General Guidelines
* Only returning Geauga County Junior Fair food animal exhibitor’s ages 12-14 and 15-18 are eligible for the Quality Assurance Test out option.
* New and/or first time food animal exhibitors and all returning food animal exhibitors ages 8 and in the third grade through age 11 ARE NOT eligible for the testing option. All ages are based on 4-H ages as of January 1st of the current year.
